GVX non richiede registrazione, non usa account, non contiene pubblicità e non usa strumenti di analisi o di tracciamento. I dati che inserisci (armi, munizioni, posizioni, impostazioni, archivi) restano sul tuo dispositivo e non vengono inviati a Victrix.
Dati salvati sul dispositivo
Profili di armi e munizioni, impostazioni, posizioni e archivi sono salvati solo nella memoria dell'app sul tuo dispositivo. Se disinstalli l'app vengono cancellati. I file che esporti o condividi (per esempio i file .gvx o i PDF) vanno dove scegli tu, con gli strumenti di condivisione del sistema.
Posizione
L'app usa la posizione del dispositivo solo quando premi il tasto che inserisce la posizione di tiro e, con GVX PRO, quando misuri la direzione del bersaglio con «Mira», per riferirla al nord vero. La posizione viene usata per il calcolo e, se lo chiedi, per le letture dalla rete descritte sotto. Non viene raccolta in background né inviata a Victrix.
Fotocamera e sensori di movimento (GVX PRO)
Con «Mira» la fotocamera posteriore fa da mirino per misurare la direzione del bersaglio: l'immagine si vede solo sullo schermo, non viene registrata, salvata né inviata. Con «Misura» e «Mira» l'app legge l'accelerometro, il giroscopio e la bussola del dispositivo solo mentre la finestra di misura è aperta, per calcolare angolo di sito, inclinazione e direzione. I valori restano sul dispositivo.
Foto del bersaglio (GVX PRO)
Con «Misura la rosata» puoi scattare una foto del bersaglio o sceglierne una dalla galleria: l'app la usa solo sul dispositivo per misurare la rosata. La foto non viene inviata a Victrix né a terzi. Se salvi la misura nella libreria della munizione, l'app conserva sul dispositivo una piccola immagine del bersaglio con i segni, che puoi eliminare in qualsiasi momento; con «Salva l'immagine con i dati» l'immagine va dove scegli tu.
Apple Watch (GVX PRO, solo iPhone)
Se usi l'app GVX sull'Apple Watch, l'iPhone gli manda le correzioni calcolate e le immagini del reticolo e della disposizione dei bersagli, direttamente tramite il collegamento tra i due dispositivi. I dati non passano da server di Victrix.
Letture dalla rete, solo su tua richiesta
Alcune funzioni, solo quando premi il tasto relativo, interrogano servizi esterni inviando le coordinate necessarie:
- meteo (Open-Meteo): temperatura, pressione, umidità e vento nel punto indicato;
- quote del terreno (Open Topo Data, Open-Elevation);
- carte geografiche (OpenStreetMap, Esri; Google Maps solo se inserisci una tua chiave).
Questi servizi ricevono le coordinate richieste e l'indirizzo IP del dispositivo, secondo le loro informative. Victrix non riceve questi dati.
Notifiche
L'app può mostrare una notifica locale per ricordarti dati non salvati. Le notifiche sono generate sul dispositivo e non passano da server esterni.
Acquisti
L'acquisto dell'app e dello sblocco GVX PRO dentro l'app sono gestiti da Apple (App Store) o Google (Google Play). L'app chiede allo store solo se lo sblocco è stato acquistato. Victrix non riceve i dati di pagamento né l'identità di chi acquista.
Minori
L'app non è destinata ai minori e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati di minori.

Victrix non conserva dati personali raccolti dall'app. Per qualsiasi domanda sulla privacy, o per esercitare i diritti previsti dal Regolamento UE 2016/679, scrivi a academy@victrixarmaments.com. Puoi anche presentare reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

In short
GVX requires no registration, uses no accounts, contains no advertising and uses no analytics or tracking tools. The data you enter (rifles, loads, positions, settings, archives) stays on your device and is not sent to Victrix.
Data stored on the device
Rifle and load profiles, settings, positions and archives are stored only in the app's storage on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app. Files you export or share (for example .gvx files or PDFs) go where you choose, through the system sharing tools.
Location
The app uses the device location only when you tap the button that fills in the firing position and, with GVX PRO, when you measure the target bearing with «Aim», to refer it to true north. The location is used for the calculation and, if you ask, for the online lookups described below. It is not collected in the background and is not sent to Victrix.
Camera and motion sensors (GVX PRO)
With «Aim» the rear camera works as a sight to measure the target bearing: the image is only shown on screen and is never recorded, stored or sent. With «Measure» and «Aim» the app reads the device accelerometer, gyroscope and compass only while the measuring window is open, to compute the angle of site, cant and bearing. The values stay on the device.
Target photo (GVX PRO)
With «Measure the group» you can take a photo of the target or pick one from your gallery: the app uses it only on the device to measure the group. The photo is not sent to Victrix or to third parties. If you save the measurement in the ammunition library, the app keeps a small image of the target with your marks on the device, which you can delete at any time; with «Save the image with the data» the image goes where you choose.
Apple Watch (GVX PRO, iPhone only)
If you use the GVX app on Apple Watch, the iPhone sends it the computed corrections and the images of the reticle and of the target layout, directly over the link between the two devices. The data does not go through Victrix servers.
Online lookups, only on request
Some features, only when you tap the related button, query external services by sending the required coordinates:
- weather (Open-Meteo): temperature, pressure, humidity and wind at the given point;
- terrain elevation (Open Topo Data, Open-Elevation);
- maps (OpenStreetMap, Esri; Google Maps only if you enter your own key).
These services receive the requested coordinates and the device IP address, under their own privacy policies. Victrix does not receive this data.
Notifications
The app may show a local notification to remind you of unsaved data. Notifications are generated on the device and do not go through external servers.
Purchases
The purchase of the app and of the GVX PRO in-app upgrade are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app only asks the store whether the upgrade has been bought. Victrix receives neither payment data nor the identity of the buyer.
Children
The app is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Victrix does not keep personal data collected by the app. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, write to academy@victrixarmaments.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
